Course Overview: TESDA Caregiving NCII Course

3 Modules l 19 lessons l Finish in 786 hours at 4 to 8 hours per day

This blended course goes beyond handling the needs of care. Learn how to provide a more compassionate, considerate, kind, and dedicated level of care to patients.

This 18-hour training teaches trainees to communicate effectively, among other roles and responsibilities, as a team member. As well as compliance with occupational safety and health standards.

This 18-hour training contains information on infection control, treating patients in a high-standard manner, and working as a First Aider.

  • Implement and monitor infection control policies and procedures

  • Maintain high standard of patient services

This 750-hour training includes providing care, helping with daily activities, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for a range of patients. Provide care and support to infants/toddlers

  • Provide care and support to children
  • Foster social, intellectual, creative and emotional development of children
  • Foster the physical development of children
  • Provide care and support to elderly
  • Provide care and support to people with special needs 
  • Maintain healthy and safe environment

Male or Female

Aspirants Between 18 and 50 Years Old

A Health Care Provider Such as a Nurse or Nursing Assistant

One who has patience, compassion, attentiveness, dependability, and trustworthiness in caring for elderly and sick individuals.

Requirements to Enroll

Present at least one requirement to proceed. The other requirements can be submitted anytime during the course of the training.

Must be a high school graduate

Two (2) valid IDs

Four (4) 2 x 2 photos

Four (4) 1 x 1 photos

Transcript of Records (TOR) or Form 137

The TESDA Caregiving NCII is a 6-month intensive training that will prepare and equip you to become a world-class, TESDA-certified caregiver, and get you employed locally and even abroad.

Trainees must possess a general understanding of taking care of an elderly, persons with special needs, infants, or toddlers; willing to be trained for proper handling and caring for these types of people; must be physically and mentally fit; able to communicate verbally and written; and show good moral character.

The short term course is equivalent to 786 training hours (approximately 6 months to complete).

The Caregiving NCII Training is currently delivered in “Blended Mode”; a combination of online and face-to-face classes. Lessons are done through live online classes via GMeet then the actual “hands-on” lessons are conducted at the training center.

After completing the Caregiving NCII Training, you still have to take the BLS (Basic Life Support) training, OJT and Geriatric Massage Training, then apply for the TESDA assessment. We’ll assist you on where you can take these additional trainings as well as the processing of the assessment application, since we’re also an accredited assessment center. After passing the assessment, TESDA will issue the National Certificate (NCII).
